Steps to be followed to watch educational videos from LearnersTV: Step 1: Download the Browser Bundle Pack Zip file from the following location. Click to download Browser Bundle Pack (28MB) (Updated for Shockwave Flash Support for viewing some Animations) Step 2: Extract the Zip File to a location in your Hard Disk or in a portable device like USB Flash Drive so that you can browse LearnersTV from any location. There is no software to be installed. Step 3: After extracting the Zip file you will be able to view 4 folders and a Start Tor browser Application as shown in screenshot below:
Step 4: Double click on the Start Tor Browser application (it may be called Start Tor Browser.exe on some systems.) The Vidalia Control Panel window will shortly appear as shown in screenshot below and Firefox browser will open with LearnersTV Home Page:
Step 5: You will be able to view a green message "Tor Enabled" on the bottom right side of the Firefox Browser as shown in screenshot below:
Step 6: Right Click the Green icon "Tor Enabled" and select "Preferences". It will open a Tor Browser preferences window with various tabs. Select "Security Settings" and ensure that "Disable Plugins during Tor Usage" is unchecked or not selected as shown in screenshot below. This is to ensure that Adobe Flash Player plugin is enabled so that you can watch the video
Step 7: Close the preferences window and start watching LearnersTV Streaming Educational video lectures. The speed of the connection is dependent on the speed of the proxy servers in use by the Tor Browser. Troubleshooting Sometimes you will not be able to access the video lectures as your Internet Service Provider maybe blocking access. Our research from within China shows the GFW is blocking ip:port combinations of the public relays and the bridges available by Tor bridge website.
